Write a first-person narrative from the point of view of an employee affected by recent developments of approx. 1000 words based on your research on the issues highlighted in the course. Imagine their experience and what the changes have meant to them in terms of their work, from both personal and operational perspectives. This can be a negative or positive experience, or a mix of both. Highlight specific opportunities and challenges the changes have created for your employee in the narrative. The last five years have seen a rapid escalation of changing work practices, based on the expansion of digital communication technology, developments in digital technology that have changed business practice, and the pandemic. Other key factors affecting the way business is organised and managed include the growing sustainability imperative and the changing global context. This course looks at how these shifts have changed the definition, scope and importance of mobility as integral to business strategy, and what that means in different contexts, and for different levels of stakeholder in the enterprise. In this first assignment, identify a work situation where there have been significant shifts in practice and expectations. This first assignment is focussed on the worker experience, and understanding the factors affecting that experience. Create a mind map of the issues (examples shown in class) affecting the expansion of Enterprise Mobility activities over the last few years. Based on this work, write a first-person (or third person) narrative from the point of view of an employee affected by recent developments of approx. 1000 words. Imagine their experience and what the changes have meant to them in terms of their work, from both personal and operational perspectives.
