Your company, ACME Widget, is looking to increase its online presence and expand the company from its current 250 employees to a larger operation of approximately 500 people in order to better serve its growing online sales. Winnie Widget, the company’s CEO and founder, is concerned that the company’s current manual and semiautomated managerial reporting across business units will not be sufficient for this scale, and she has asked you to look at an example of the company’s decision and reporting mechanisms and provide her with a report that looks at ways to use the current data, areas of opportunity for increased efficiency, and future technological needs and risks, and considers the impact to various stakeholders using the information available and value chain in order to help meet your company’s new goals.
