Thank you for this wonderful thread, which adds value to the community. Regarding point two (healthcare administrators can speed up this process by encouraging interaction between clinicians and IT specialists, offering thorough instruction on digital tools, and ensuring that technological advancements fit the organization’s workflow), is it possible that one system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be helpful?

Research in the Health Sciences and Population Health
Developing and implementing efficient interventions to address the increased incidence of chronic diseases like obesity and diabetes in Saudi Arabia and other Western countries would be the main focus of my future research topic in public health. This research aims to develop a holistic approach to these chronic diseases that healthcare practitioners can implement into their clinical contexts and practises.
An extensive assessment of the prior literature and ongoing studies on the causes, risk factors, and treatments for obesity and diabetes would be the first step in the research. This would make it easier to find evidence-based strategies that have had success with various demographics (Al Busaidi et al., 2019). The research will also involve gathering and analyzing data to fully comprehend the specific cultural, social, and lifestyle variables influencing the growth of these diseases in Saudi Arabia. Healthcare workers need specialized training and ongoing education to incorporate the most recent findings into clinical practice. This may comprise workshops, seminars, and online courses to inform them of the most recent results and recommendations (Salem et al., 2022). Tracking patient progress and adherence to treatment regimens may be easier by integrating technology, such as electronic health records.
However, there may be several obstacles and difficulties. Cultural norms and societal
attitudes of weight and health may impact patient receptivity to therapies. It might be essential to fight the stigma attached to certain illnesses (Salem et al., 2022). Additionally, regional resource shortages may make using cutting-edge diagnostic methods and treatments difficult. The recommended interventions need to be supported by healthcare systems allocating the necessary funds and resources (Al Busaidi et al., 2019). Successful implementation would require cooperation between healthcare experts, decision-makers, and community leaders. The strategy’s success could be improved by adapting interventions to the local environment and involving community people in awareness campaigns and health education programmes.
In conclusion, my research study aims to develop evidence-based interventions that medical professionals may use to combat the growing problem of chronic diseases like obesity and diabetes. This strategy could help prevent, detect, and treat many diseases by incorporating the most recent research findings and encouraging stakeholder cooperation. However, hurdles, including cultural beliefs and resource constraints, must be surmounted to ensure the success of such projects.
