Description
Clinical supervision is an art grounded in science. Understanding philosophy allows the doctoral learner to express the art of supervision as understood from the current science. For a clinical supervisor to develop a personal style of supervision, a variety of supervision models including those based in psychotherapy as well as non-psychotherapy-based models should be considered. Doctoral learners study these models to glean relevant ideas from them and apply those ideas to the development of their own clinical supervision styles. In this assignment, you will bring together the knowledge of philosophy and models in the area of clinical supervision.
