Personal introduction: My name is .. I live in Miami Florida. My previous experience as a dialysis registered nurse has provided me with unique technical skills that I can apply to this position. I learned how to keep complete and accurate health care records and reports. Administer medications to patients and monitor them for side effects and reactions. Prescribe assistive medical devices and related treatments. Request medical diagnoses, clinical tests and administer non-intravenous medications. Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions. I currently work as a Family Nurse Practitioner at New Access Medical Center, with adult patients. This position has been a rewarding experience that has allowed me to combine my knowledge for the medical care of patients with chronic and mental illnesses.
Studying the Psychiatry Professional Nursing (NP) program, I think it will be an enriching experience that will mark my career in a very exciting way and be able to better help people who need me.
As a professional in the field of health care, I have always been deeply committed to expanding my knowledge and skills, I have been a foreign doctor since 1996, Anesthesiologist and have experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Following the psychiatric NP program currently is an important step in my career, to acquire the necessary methodology, knowledge and experience and thus be able to approach a correct evaluation of patients with psychiatric problems.
At the end of my psychiatric nursing career, I aspire to integrate this knowledge in my patients with a better approach and evaluation of their diagnoses. My goal is to is to learn better in individual management and to be able to personalize each patient and respond to her health needs, generate empathy and trust in my daily practice. This commitment to patient care will enhance my capacity and ability to connect with my patients at a stronger level.
Unique Aspect and Talent: A unique aspect that I believe sets me apart in my field is my commitment and dedication to patient-centered healthcare, to her physical and mental well-being, and to improving the family and social environment where she lives.
In addition to my clinical skills, I have a talent for affective communication and empathy. Building strong, respectful, and trusting relationships with patients, their families, and the healthcare team is essential to achieving positive health outcomes. My ability to convey complex medical information in an understandable manner and foster collaboration among interdisciplinary teams has been instrumental in providing the highest quality care.
Interests outside of work: Outside of my professional responsibilities, I value the way to have a balance between health and love for my family. Two of my most treasured activities are exercising, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.
Practicing exercise, such as walking, has been the best way to keep me relaxed and connected with the external environment. Thalassotherapy is the best way to maintain calm and tranquility in the most demanding moments. The time I spend with my family is very important to me. Family is the axis of my life, it is the meaning of my existence, seeing its challenges, its triumphs, is my happiness. These interests drive me to be stronger, to be a better professional and person for others and with all the people around me.

In conclusion, my current role as a family nurse caring for adult patients at New Access Medical Center has allowed me to understand the importance of learning better about the mental illnesses that are frequent in my patients, I hope to be what my patients need for their improvement and for my personal, family and social life as a psychiatric nurse, contributing to the physical and mental well-being of my patients and their families and to the advancement of medical care in general.
