Timothy Leary was a psychology professor who became the famous promoter of the drug LSD.
Read his essay The Politics of Ecstasy ( 4 pages in D2L) or at least a lot of it.
Find 5 things he says that you feel are interesting and quote them or paraphrase them.
Quotations are using his exact words, and putting them in quotation marks
To paraphrase is writing your representation of his ideas as accurately as you can.
For each quotation or paraphrase, write a brief response. Do you agree or disagree with it? Why do you agree or disagree? Does his reasoning not work?
You may want to look at the Logical Fallacies handout to see if Timothy Leary commits any of them.
