BULE 303 Business Activities and The Legal Society Essay

The essay covers a topic discussed in Chapter 1 (briefing a case); a skill (hopefully) students have been practicing since learning it. Students will have 30 minutes to complete the assignment once it is opened. Students may consult and reference their textbook, the students own lecture or textbook notes, and/or my lecture ONLY when completing the essays, but may not consult with others, nor utilize or reference the internet, or any other resource. As this is a timed assignment, students may not exit the assignment, then re-open it; the assignment must be completed within 30 minutes of opening the assignment.

Answers may include no more than 20 words of direct quotation from the textbook, lecture, or the assignment itself, so long as proper citation is used. The rest of the answer must be entirely in the students words. Any answer that includes exact words from the textbook, lecture, or assignment without proper internal citation, will receive a 0 on the assignment. [Examples: Miller and Cross, 3-3b.
